<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector capable of preventing an electric wire cover from being assembled in a wrong way and a connector housing from breaking in case of a fall, both with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The lever type connector 11 which has the electric wire cover 15 assembled to the connector housing 13 mounted with a lever 17 is equipped with a wrong-assembly prevention projection 55 which projects from the electric wire cover 15 and abuts on the lever 17 to prevent the wrong assembly of the electric wire cover 15, the wrong-assembly prevention projection 55 projecting outward from external surfaces of the connector housing 13 and the lever 17.
