<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band bass filter for which the adjustment of electric characteristics is not difficult and the size of a filter is not large. <P>SOLUTION: Input/output waveguides 3a, 3b are finline type band pass filters of the same structures, with metal plates 2a, 2b that are disposed in the center parts to be parallel with an E surface and resonate at a desired frequency. A resonance frequency can be changed according to the shape of the metal plates 2a, 2b. Rectangle cavity resonators 5a, 5b are dual-mode rectangle cavity resonators with metal plates 2c, 2d disposed in the center parts to be parallel with the E surface. The metal plates 2c, 2d play the same roles as the metal plates 2a, 2b in the input/output waveguides 3a, 3b. Cross sections of the rectangle cavity resonators 5a, 5b in parallel with an H surface are originally squares, but pipe thickness in the lower right corners of the cross sections is vertically cut off along a radio wave traveling direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
