<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus that can prevent the inside of a printing apparatus from being contaminated when a waste tank is removed after the maintenance operation performed by a maintenance unit. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus includes: a recording head 29 for jetting an ink to a sheet S; a maintenance unit 19 for carrying out maintenance operation in which the ink is discharged from the recording head 29 as a waste ink through a discharge tube 32; a waste ink tank 34, detachably provided in a position corresponding to a downstream end of the discharge tube 32 in the printing apparatus 12, for receiving the waste ink discharged from the downstream end of the discharge tube 32 in an attached state; an opening and closing door 18 provided in the printing apparatus 12 so that the door 18 opens or closes when the waste ink tank 34 is attached to or detached from an attaching position in the printing apparatus 12; and a roll container 14 that can be displaced between an allowable position where the opening and closing of the door 18 are allowed and a controlling position where the opening and closing thereof are controlled, and that is normally positioned at the controlling position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
