<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, simple and inexpensive fall prevention device in preparation for a big earthquake uttered to be inevitable in the near future, by taking a fall prevention measure for furniture, refrigerators, or the like directly in a manufacturing process at any cost from now on, since houses, condominiums, or the like of recent years have high airtightness causing problems such as moisture and mold between the back of existing furniture and a head jamb/wall surface, and because existing furniture and household refrigerators, etc., lack treatment/consideration for fall prevention measures. <P>SOLUTION: The fall prevention device is designed to secure a gap/ventilation path between furniture and a head jamb/wall surface and intended to connect/stabilize a furniture side and a head jamb/ledge side as an respectively independent and separate device, by taking an opportunity of transfer, new purchase or the like of furniture and by facilitating installation on existing furniture. In the fall prevention device of a dL-shape which is also applicable separately, is employed. The dL-shaped fall prevention device is aimed at a low cost by mass production.
