The invention relates to a robot, in particular for carrying out a medical treatment. The robot according to the invention comprises a mechanism (R) that can be moved by a number of pneumatic actuators (5), wherein the actuator resiliency of the respective pneumatic actuators (5) is adjustable. The robot also has a control unit (CU) by which the movement of the robot via the actuation of the number of pneumatic actuators (5) is controllable, wherein the control unit (CU) can be operated by means of a user interface (UI) via which the resiliency of the robot movement can be fixed or changed. The control unit is designed in such a way that it adjusts the actuator resiliency of the respective actuators (5) as a function of the resiliency of the robot movement fixed via the user interface (UI). |
