PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece erecting device simple in structure and manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The workpiece erecting device has a workpiece bearer 7 supported by a turnable horizontal pivot 5 and disposed near the delivery end 1a of a conveyor 1. The workpiece bearer comprises a back 9 and a bottom 11, and the horizontal pivot has a weight 13 on a side facing the workpiece bearer. When the workpiece bearer does not hold a workpiece 3, the workpiece bearer maintains a workpiece receiving attitude in an ascent position by the weight, and when a workpiece in a lying attitude is delivered from the delivery end of the conveyor, the workpiece bearer receives the workpiece and turns downward by the weight of the workpiece to deliver the workpiece in an erected attitude on another conveyor 19.
