The invention relates to a method for helping to position a tip of an injecting and/or sampling needle (1) in an egg (10), said method comprising the steps of: - measuring at least one electrical parameter characteristic of a target zone with a view to obtaining an electrical reference parameter; - measuring said electrical parameter in the area of said tip in order to obtain a value measured at one position of the tip in the egg (10); - comparing said measured value with said charactersitic reference value.
