Provided are an indoor unit (100), which improves on fluctuations in the wind speed distribution of air flowing into a heat exchanger, and which can suppress increased pressure loss in the heat exchanger; and an air conditioning device provided with the indoor unit (100). The indoor unit (100) is provided with: a casing (1), on the upper section of which air inlets (2) are formed, and on the lower side of the front-surface section of which an air outlet (3) is formed; a plurality of axial-flow or diagonal-flow fans (20) provided on the downstream side of the air inlets (2) in the casing (1); and a heat exchanger (50) which is provided on the upstream side of the air outlet (3) and on the downstream side of the fans (20) in the casing (1), and wherein refrigerant and air blown out from the fans (20) undergo heat exchange. The plurality of fans (20) are arranged in parallel along the crosswise direction of the casing (1), and adjacent fans (20) have opposite rotation directions, in the planar view.
