Provided is a display method wherein a stereo image is displayed, by having each of frame data for a first eye and frame data for a second eye composed of a plurality of line data, having each of first and second line data groups to be a part of line data included in the data for the first eye, having each of third and fourth line data groups to be a part of line data included in the data for the second eye, and writing 8 field data, composed of front field data for the first eye obtained from the first line data group, rear field data for the first eye obtained from the second line data group, front field data for the second eye obtained from the third line data group, rear field data for the second eye obtained from the fourth line data group, and first to fourth interpolation field data, onto a display unit in time division, in a manner in which the interpolation field data will not be displayed in continuity.
