PURPOSE: An ectoparasite control agent in animals, containing hydrazide comopunds is provided to ensure excellent effect of eliminating ectoparasites. CONSTITUTION: An ectoparasite control agent in animals contains hydrazide compunds of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. In chemical formula 1, R3 is a fluorine, chlorine, or bromoide element, a methyl group, ethyl group, or hydrogen atom. The ectoparasite control agent is used in the form of a capsule, tablet, or chewable tablet for oral or external use skin formulation. The ectoparasite includes fleas or acarid. A method for eliminating ectoparasites in animals comprises a step of applying effective amount of the compound of chemical formula 1 to the animals.
