Steady State Flow Force Estimation Method in Hydraulic Control Valves

PURPOSE: A method for estimating steady flow force in a hydraulic control valve is provided to accurately and simply estimate the steady flow force of fluid flowing inside a hydraulic control valve. CONSTITUTION: A method for estimating steady flow force in a hydraulic control valve is as follows. A characteristic test and a simulation of a hydraulic control valve electrically driven are performed. The steady flow force applied to the sealing elements of the valve is estimated. An error between a test value and a theoretically computed value of a control signal transferred from a valve controller to a valve amplifier is sent to a controller arranged inside a steady flow force estimator. The steady flow force of fluid flowing in the valve is estimated by multiplying the error outputted from the controller by the control orifice area and the pressure drop of the valve.
