<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of radio stations and a radio communication system. <P>SOLUTION: When a fire alarm system is constituted by only fire alarms TRs of the present embodiment, control parts 1 of all the fire alarms TRs select and perform a first transmission/reception control mode. On the other hand, when even one fire alarm of an old system is included, the control parts 1 of the fire alarms TRs of the present embodiment select and perform a second transmission/reception control mode. Consequently, the fire alarms TRs of the present embodiment are used not only for the fire alarm system constituted only by the fire alarms TRs of the present embodiment but also for a fire alarm system where another type of fire alarm (the fire alarm of the old system) is mixed.
