摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wavelength interferences with adjacent optical paths for efficient wavelength allocation in optical multiplex transmission where optical signals based on different signaling communication methods coexist. <P>SOLUTION: An optical multiplex communication system includes a plurality of OADM nodes which, by inputting/outputting any wavelength multiplexed by wavelength division, multiplexes wavelengths of signals based on plural modulation methods with different signaling systems and an OpS, connected to the OADM nodes via a communication network, which controls provisioning of optical paths in the OADM nodes. In this communication system, the OpS manages the number of free wavelengths required in the adjoining relationship of signaling systems used in optical paths and, at the time of optical path provisioning, checks the relationship between the signaling methods of adjacent optical paths and the number of free wavelengths to select a wavelength No. for which the necessary number of free wavelengths can be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
