IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, IMAGE SUPPLY DEVICE, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform luminance expansion processing of image data for the right eye and image data for the left eye in consideration of the parallax between both of the image data.

SOLUTION: An image display device 1 comprises: a feature amount calculation unit 30 which calculates an image feature amount relating to the luminance of the image data by use of the parallax between the image data for the right eye and the image data for the left eye; a luminance expansion ratio calculation unit 40 which calculates an expansion coefficient on the basis of the image feature amount calculated by the feature amount calculation unit 30; and a luminance expansion processing unit 50 which performs the luminance expansion processing of the image data for the right eye and the image data for the left eye on the basis of the expansion coefficient calculated by the luminance expansion ratio calculation unit 40.
