<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a regenerative burner, a heating furnace and a soaking furnace, which suppress overheating of a heat storage body of the regenerative burner and achieving homogenous temperature distribution in the furnace. <P>SOLUTION: In the control method for the regenerative burner which performs alternative combustion of paired burners including the heat storage bodies, heats the heat storage body of the non-combustion burner, and preheats combustion air passing through the heat storage body and supplied to the burner, when the regenerative burner is restarted after temporary stop thereof, a combustion state of each burner immediately before the temporary stop is stored, combustion or non-combustion of each burner is selected based on the stored information, and the regenerative burner is restarted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
