<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique suppressing deterioration in fuel cell performance. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 100 includes: a membrane electrode assembly 10 including an electrode 20 arranged on both sides of an electrolyte membrane 11; and a separator 30 holding the membrane electrode assembly 10. The electrode 20 is provided with a catalyst layer 21 arranged to be brought into contact with the electrolyte membrane 11, a gas diffusion layer 23 arranged on the catalyst layer 21 and an adhesion layer 25 bonding the catalyst layer 21 and the gas diffusion layer 23. The adhesion layer 25 is formed only within a region overlapping a site where the separator 30 is not in contact with the electrode 20 directly when viewed along a lamination direction of the electrode 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
