<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set used in a drop discharge apparatus including a switch means for switching and discharging a plurality of inks from one nozzle, the ink set enabling reduction in an ink volume required for switching. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set according is used in the drop discharge apparatus including the switch means for switching the plurality of inks to each discharge them from the identical nozzle, the ink set including a first ink and a second ink switched by the switch means, characterized in that the first ink contains a distributed coloring material; the specific gravity of the first ink and the specific gravity of the second ink have the relationship of (specific gravity of second ink)<(specific gravity of first ink); and the difference between the specific gravities of the first ink and the second ink is not less than 2.1% of the specific gravity of the first ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
