<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an accumulator of a railroad vehicle which can efficiently charge and discharge the accumulator even for different kinds of capacitors, and even if the rating and characteristics of the capacitors are different from one another. <P>SOLUTION: At least two or more vehicles of the railroad vehicle constituted by connecting a plurality of the vehicles are provided with the accumulators comprising the capacitors, and information is transmitted between the plurality of accumulators. The transmitted information is any one of voltage information of the capacitor, charge/discharge current information on the capacitor, temperature information of the capacitor, information of the remaining amount of energy on the capacitor, the history of operation of the capacitor, failure information of the capacitor, DC voltage information between input/output terminals of the accumulator, temperature information of the accumulator, and information of the charging and discharging operation of the accumulator.
