<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for repairing a liquid crystal display panel that can more effectively repair a defect of an LCD panel. <P>SOLUTION: A device for repairing a liquid crystal display panel includes: a laser beam device for removing a defective pattern of an LCD panel, a laser beam moving device for moving the laser beam device, a printing plate formed with a groove corresponding to a repair pattern of the defective pattern of the LCD panel, a base on which the LCD panel and the printing plate are placed, a printing unit that forms the repair pattern by filling the groove formed in the printing plate with ink and transfers the formed repair pattern to the LCD panel, a printing unit moving device for moving the printing unit, and a controller for performing control such that the laser beam device removes the defective pattern of the LCD panel and the printing unit forms the repair pattern and transfers it to the LCD panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
