摘要 A positive electrode material for a lithium-ion secondary battery that can stably inhibit heat generation, a lithium-ion secondary battery comprising the positive electrode material for a lithium-ion secondary battery as a positive electrode material that is excellent in safety during charging, and a secondary battery module using the lithium-ion secondary battery are provided. The positive electrode material for a lithium-ion secondary battery of the present invention is characterized in that: a coating layer comprising a phosphate compound and an oxide or fluoride containing A (where A denotes at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Al, Ti, and Cu) is formed on a layered lithium-manganese composite oxide represented by the following formula: LiMnxM1-xO2 (where 0.1≰x≰0.6 and M denotes at least one element selected from the group consisting of Li, Mg, Al, Ti, Co, Ni, and Mo); and the atomic concentration of phosphorus on the outer side of the coating layer is greater than that on the lithium-manganese composite oxide side of the coating layer.
