Disclosed is an apparatus for acquiring an image of a small animal for clinical trials, which comprises: a visible ray optical system which acquires visible image of the small animal; an infrared optical system which acquires an infrared image thereof; a composite optical system which simultaneously or selectively acquires the visible image and infrared image as digital data; and a network means which enables the visible image and infrared image acquired by the composite optical system to be shared with a remote terminal, connected to a network or the Internet, or to be transmitted to the remote terminal.
