MEMS-CMOS VIBRATING ANTENNAS AND RELATED APPLICATIONS

The systems and methods described herein address the deficiencies in the prior art, enabling spatial multiplexing in cellular and/or wireless networks to overcome capacity limitations. In one embodiment, the limitations are overcome by forming a spatially multiplexed network of portable communication devices that has MEMS-based vibrating antennas. Other appropriate applications of the vibrating antennas are also described.
