IMAGE DECODING DEVICE, IMAGE DECODING METHOD AND IMAGE DECODING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decode an encoded stream of a stereo image in an existing decoding device for a monaural image.

SOLUTION: In an image decoding device 500 for decoding an encoded stream obtained by encoding a stereo image composed of first and second images from different views, a reference structure analysis unit 502 analyzes a reference structure of a picture contained in the encoded stream. According to the reference structure analyzed by the reference structure analysis unit 502, a reordering command creation unit 503 creates a reordering command for enabling the encoded stream to be decoded in a decoding unit for a monaural image. A reordering command insertion unit 504 inserts the reordering command created by the reordering command creation unit 503 into the encoded stream.
