<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more convenient method of selecting a resonance phenomenon countermeasure which makes use of the relationship between characteristics of external auditory canals. <P>SOLUTION: An acoustic signal correction apparatus comprises signal processing means which applies filtering to an input acoustic signal; filter coefficient storage means which holds filter coefficients in memory; filter coefficient determination means which, from a plurality of filter coefficients stored in the filter coefficient storage means, determines a filter coefficient to be used in the signal processing means; and user interface means which presents a user with options regarding the determination of a filter coefficient and obtains the result of selection from the user. The filter coefficient determination means, in generating the filter coefficient, infers other feature quantities from a feature quantity which external auditory canal characteristics have as it determines a filter coefficient to be used in the signal processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
