<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new sound reproduction system in a parametric speaker. <P>SOLUTION: A sound output device 100 has a parametric speaker 10 and a controller. The parametric speaker 10 generates an ultrasonic wave depending on sound information to form acoustic fields 1, 2, and 3 where a sound is reproduced by demodulation of the ultrasonic wave. The controller controls the parametric speaker 10 so that the acoustic fields 1, 2, and 3 are formed in a plurality of regions and that a sound different from each other is reproduced in each of the acoustic fields 1, 2, and 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
