<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of floor tiles, capable of easily laying regular hexagonal floor tiles on a floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: The construction method of this invention includes: a step of successively laying the plurality of regular hexagonal tiles 8 toward a wall surface side; a step of cutting regular hexagonal floor tiles 85 so as to be adapted to the shape of a residual area R1 where one floor tile cannot be laid near a wall surface W1; and a step of fitting cut floor tile pieces into the residual area R1. On the already laid regular hexagonal floor tiles 8 present in a direction roughly orthogonal to a wall surface part corresponding to the residual area R1, the regular hexagonal floor tiles 85 are placed. A ruler 1 for cutting is placed on it, one side 1b of the ruler 1 is abutted to the wall surface part, and the floor tiles 85 to be cut are cut with a cutter along the opposite side of the ruler 1.
