<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid composition having specific heat characteristics and a gas-barrier property by kneading poly-L-lactic acid and poly-D-lactic acid from which a residual catalyst is removed by addition of a catalyst deactivator or by solvent cleaning, and to provide the polylactic acid composition that comprises PLLA and PDLA and is formable of a polylactic acid stretched film or other molded products excellent in surface smoothness, transparency, heat resistance and toughness. <P>SOLUTION: The polylactic acid composition is obtained by kneading the poly-L-lactic acid and the poly-D-lactic acid. When the residual catalyst remains in at least one of the poly-L-lactic acid and the poly-D-lactic acid, a catalyst deactivation treatment is carried out so that the residual catalyst becomes deactivated at least after the kneading process. In a DSC measurement, the polylactic acid composition shows at least one peak at ≥40 mJ/mg when cooled (10°C/min) after kept at 250°C for 10 min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
