<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily producing a polyester resin in which diamond fine particles and/or carbon nanotubes are homogeneously dispersed in a high concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyester resin containing the diamond fine particles and/or the carbon nanotubes includes a step for subjecting a dicarboxylic acid component consisting essentially of terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof, and a diol component consisting essentially of an alkylene glycol in which the diamond fine particles and/or the carbon nanotubes are dispersed to esterification reaction or transesterification, and a step for subjecting the reaction product obtained by the esterification reaction or the transesterification to melt polycondensation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
