The present invention describes the use of a composition including or constituted by at least one element chosen from: a specific protein including or consisting of the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 5, and a protein homologous to the specific protein, for the preparation of a medicament intended for the prevention or treatment of pathologies associated with a viral infection or an inflammation.
