<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a Chinese input method thereof are provided to secure the maximum size of a character input area in a limited display area, thereby effectively inputting Chinese. CONSTITUTION: A controller(180) combines one or more alphabets corresponding to one or more alphabet keys to generate at least one unit letter. The controller searches at least one Chinese corresponding to the unit letter from a memory. The controller allocates at least one of a first area and a second area to a character input area. One unit letter is displayed on the first area. At least one Chinese is displayed on the second area. A display unit(151) displays at least one of the first and second areas on the character input area according to an allocation result.</p> |
