Discloses is an auto inspection method for an inkjet printer negative pressure system. Specifically, the method comprises: on the basis of an inspection scheme, a software control system controlling in the negative pressure system the opening and closing of a electromagnetic valve and the starting and stopping of a negative pressure pump; by means of a negative pressure sensor, inspecting the negative pressure value of the negative pressure system; and by means of contrasting the detected value of the inspection scheme with a reference value, obtaining a inspection result. In the present invention, the auto inspection method for the inkjet printer negative pressure system, by means of adding to an existing inkjet printer circuit procedures for negative pressure auto inspection and display, allows the negative pressure system auto inspection to be materialized, the negative pressure inspection process to be simplified, also allowed is a simultaneous performance of a prognosis of the negative pressure system health status and the rapid and convenient location of a point of failure, thereby ensuring the stability of the inkjet printer negative pressure system.
