A method and a system for issuing a bank book are provided to enable a financial institution to reduce expenses for issuing a bank book by printing an image provided by a customer on a cover of the bank book. A method and a system for issuing a bank book comprise the following steps. Customer information of a customer requesting a bank book, bank account information of the customer, and an image provided by the customer are received(300). A bank book including the customer information and bank account information is generated(320). The bank account information is stored in a storing unit. The image provided by the customer is edited to print as a cover of the bank book(345). The bank book adopting the image provided by the customer is printed(355). |
