PURPOSE: An ectoparasite control agent containing hydrazide compounds is provided to effectively eliminate ectoparasites in animals. CONSTITUTION: An ectoparasite control agent for animals contains hydrazide compounds of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R3 is a fluorine, chlorine, or bromide atom, methyl group, ethyl group, or hydrogen atoms; R5 and R6 are independently same or different methyl group or hydrogen atoms; and R4 is C3-C6 cycloalkyl group. The ectoparasite control agent is manufactured in the form of oral formulation, external use skin formulation, capsule, tablet, or chewable tablet.
