<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time data receiving apparatus and a radio clock capable of more surely acquiring a time code contained in a standard radio wave. <P>SOLUTION: A time data receiving apparatus includes: receiving means capable of receiving a standard radio wave containing a time code in at least two frequencies; time code acquisition means for acquiring the time code of the received standard radio wave; and reception control means which causes the receiving means to start receiving the standard radio wave in a first frequency at a reception starting time of the standard radio wave, and causes the receiving means to start receiving the standard radio wave in the other second frequency when the time code acquisition means can not acquire the required time code on the basis of the standard radio wave in the first frequency. If a standard radio wave reception period includes a transmission period of out-of-time information to be sent out within a quarter past after and/or before every hour, the time code acquisition means acquires the time code in any other period of time than this transmission period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
