<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving braking performance on the ice of the tire. <P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a sipe 1 has protruded parts 2 on one of mutually opposing sipe wall surfaces, and recessed parts 3 meshing with the protruded part 2 in the other sipe wall surface. In a projection drawing of the protruded part 2 when the sipe wall surfaces are expanded, an installation density X of the protruded parts 2 in a region from an opening of the sipe 1 down to half of a sipe depth H and an installation density Y of the protruded parts 2 in a region from a bottom of the sipe 1 up to half of the side depth H has a relation X>Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
