<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and incombustible radio wave absorber which has excellent mechanical strength and durability and absorbs electromagnetic waves effectively in a wide frequency band. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a radio wave absorber comprises: mixing ferrite powder, ceramics powder, glassy powder, an organic binder, and a dispersion medium to prepare a slurry; casting the slurry in a die to obtain a molded article; drying the resulting molded article; and degreasing and calcining the dried molded article to obtain the radio wave absorber.
