<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning mechanism for determining or keeping the position of the rotation stop of a tool magazine. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 38 of the tool magazine 30 is rotatably supported by a bearing 40 of a column side surface 16A of a machining center, and its distal end is directly connected to the output side of a speed reducer 42. A motor 50 is installed in a column 16, an output of the motor 50 is transmitted to the speed reducer 42 through a pulley 56 at the distal end of the output shaft 54 thereof, a pulley 46 of the input shaft 44 of the speed reducer 42, and a belt 58, and the rotary shaft 38 is driven. A movable side magnet 60 is disposed on the end surface of the pulley 56, and a fixed side magnet 70 supported by a support body 76 is arranged at a position facing it at a predetermined interval. S poles and N poles are arranged radially and alternately on each of the facing surfaces of movable side magnet 60 and fixed side magnet 70. When the attracting force between the movable side magnet 60 and fixed side magnet 70 exceeds torque, the tool magazine 30 is stopped/held at a predetermined position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
