PURPOSE: A marker setting method and a device thereof are provided to determine time of one of silent portions in an audio signal to set a marker for the time, thereby replaying a silent portion by user intention. CONSTITUTION: When a user inserts a marker, a market setting device determines whether the marker is inserted in a non-silent portion(S703,S704). The device determines all silent portions in a received audio signal(S705). When a preferred silent portion does not exist, the device selects a target silent portion(S706,S707) The device transfers a wrongly inserted marker to the target/preferred silent portion(S708). |
