<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitter/receiver for a walk assistance device which enables a stable movement with an inexpensive and simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The signal transceiver/receiver for transmitting/receiving a signal in order to control the walk assistance device includes: a transmission part having a transmission electrode to be touched by a human body, and a signal transmission means for transmitting a signal when the transmission electrode is touched by the human body; and a reception part having a reception electrode to be touched by the human body, and a signal reception means for receiving the signal transmitted from the signal transmission means via the reception electrode.
