<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge structure of a glove compartment device for vehicle which is easily assembled in a small installation space through the small number of assembling processes by arranging a braked shaft and a braking system at a position biased to the axial direction of a hinge shaft. <P>SOLUTION: Since a braking plate 3b is fixed to a housing body 7, whereas the braked shaft 2 and the hinge shaft 1 are rotated with the turning of a lid body 6 when the lid body 6 is opened or closed, a friction plate 3a between the braked shaft 2 and the braking plate 3b come in press-contact with the rotated end surface 2e of the braked shaft 2 and the stationary braking plate 3b and a predetermined friction force is stably generated. An adequate rotation resistance is obtained upon the opening/closing of the lid body 6 by the friction force and when the lid body 6 is stopped at an arbitrary position in a rotation range of the lid body 6, the lid body 6 is held in the position, The braked shaft 2 and the braking device 3 are arranged in the position biased to the axial direction of the hinge shaft 1 and thereby, are mounted in a small installation space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
