<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability of a driving pulley and an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: In a power steering apparatus, wherein a ball nut 20 and a driven pulley 30 are rotatably journaled to a gear housing 11, a driving pulley 31 is rotatably linked to a drive shaft 45a of an electric motor 45, and a timing belt 32 is wrapped around the driven pulley 30 and the driving pulley 31, the gear housing 11 has a pulley space 42 in which the driven pulley 30, the driving pulley 31 and the timing belt 32 are operatably placed, the pulley space 42 communicates with the outside of the gear housing 11, the gear housing 11 has a motor-side hole 17b whose size is such that the drive shaft 45a of the electric motor 45 can be inserted, and the gear housing 11 has a pulley-side hole 16b whose size is such that the driving pulley 31 can be inserted into the pulley space 42 at a position opposite the motor-side hole 17b across the pulley space 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
