<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent display device which is enhanced in high definition without reducing brightness. <P>SOLUTION: Second pixel electrodes 34 and third pixel electrodes 36 are alternately arranged on columns, and a pair of second pixel electrodes 34 and a pair of third pixel electrodes 36 are alternately arranged in the interval direction of the columns. Plural second emission layers 14 are arranged so that each second emission layer 14 is continuously overlapped with a pair of second pixel electrodes 34, and plural third light emission layers 16 are arranged so that each third light emission layer 16 is continuously overlapped with a pair of third pixel electrodes 36.
