<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which a transfer voltage of a first level is consecutively applied at least during one full turn of an image holding body in an image non-forming period until a switchover to an image forming period therefrom, wherein generation of line images different from images can be reduced, compared with the conventional case where a transfer voltage of a second level is not consecutively applied from the time of switching during the image forming period following the image non-forming period. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming device 10, a control unit 36 so controls a power supply source 30 as to apply, during an image non-forming period until a switchover to an image forming period, a transfer voltage of a first level consecutively at least during one full turn of an image holding body 12 to a transfer member 20 and apply, during the image forming period following the image non-forming period consecutively from the time of switchover, a transfer voltage of a second level to the transfer member 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
