<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably divide each page of a saddle-stitched booklet at a center line of the page when scanning the booklet after splitting it to digitalize, even when each page has a different page width. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing server 3 generates an image corresponding to the page order of a saddle-stitched booklet, based on images generated by reading multiple pages of manuscripts composing the saddle-stitched booklet. The image processing server 3 includes an information acquisition part 301 which acquires the generated images, information on reading states of the multiple pages of the manuscripts, and document width information indicating the difference in document width for each page of the manuscripts; an image division processing part 302 which divides the generated images into an image for each page of the saddle-stitched booklet; and a page order determination part 303 which rearranges the divided images in page order of the saddle-stitched booklet, based on the information on the reading states of the multiple pages of the manuscripts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
