<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitter that can separate a multiband signal into three or more frequency bands while suppressing insertion loss. <P>SOLUTION: A splitter 100 comprises first and second branch circuits. The first branch circuit 140 comprises a first filter 110 with a first pass band and a second filter 112 with a second pass band, and the second branch circuit 160 comprises a third filter 114 with a third pass band outside a frequency band including the first and second pass bands. The input impedance of the first branch circuit includes a first reactance component that is inductive or capacitive in the first pass band, and includes a second reactance component that has polarity opposite to that of the first reactance component in the second pass band. The input impedance of the second branch circuit is capacitive in the first pass band and inductive in the second pass band when the first reactance component is inductive, and is inductive in the first pass band and capacitive in the second pass band when the first reactance component is capacitive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
