<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a poly(3-substituted thiophene), which method uses inexpensive raw materials, is easy in a production method, especially in which the reaction temperature control is not needed in a low-temperature region, gives a yield equivalent to that in a conventional method for producing a poly(3-substituted thiophene), and enables the polymer to have excellent stereoregularity and an excellent molecular weight distribution at least equivalent to those of a poly(3-substituted thiophene) produced by the conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a poly(3-substituted thiophene) comprising polymerizing a monohalogenated 3-substituted thiophene in the presence of a palladium catalyst, an organic alkali metal salt, and a polar aprotic organic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
