The device (1) has an object holder (7) for holding an object (11) to be tested. An electric drive motor (3) i.e. servomotor, rotates the object holder. A torque sensor (10) i.e. rotational torque measuring shaft, measures rotational torque, which is applied from the drive motor. The object holder forms an engine side-object holder rotational axis and an object-side object rotational axis (15). The rotational axes are radially displaced to each other for balancing misalignments between the object holder and the object. The object holder comprises a pack frame (17).
