<p>PURPOSE: A coloring composition, a color filter, and a display device is provided to maintain the color characteristic of a coloring layer regardless of the application of a high temperature heating process by applying a coloring agent into the coloring composition. CONSTITUTION: A coloring composition contains a coloring agent, a binder resin, and a cross-linking agent. The coloring agent includes a compound represented by chemical formula 1, X^++Z^-. In chemical formula 1, the X^+ represents a cationic chromophore. The Z^- represents the conjugated base of organic acid containing hydrocarbon group and is represented by chemical formula 1a or chemical formula 1b. In the chemical formula 1a, the R1 represents halogenated hydrocarbon group which is capable of including a connecting group containing a carbon element, a hydrogen element, and an element except for halogen elements. In chemical formula 1b, the R2 represents respectively halogenated hydrocarbon group which is capable of including a connecting group containing a carbon element, a hydrogen element, and an element except for halogen elements.</p> |
