<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has high thermal stability and electrodes having high energy density, and a method for manufacturing a positive electrode mixture. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode is composed by forming a positive electrode mixture layer consisting of a positive electrode active material 10a, conductive agents 10b, 20, 30 and binder on a surface of a positive electrode current collector 5. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 100 has a positive electrode in which the amount of the positive electrode mixture layer is equal to or more than 125 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>per on side of the positive electrode current collector 5. The positive electrode mixture layer 5 contains olivine type lithium-containing phosphate represented by a specific formula (1) as the positive electrode active material 10a, amorphous carbon 10b, lump graphite 20 and carbon black 30 as conductive agents, polyacrylonitrile and polyvinylidene fluoride as the binder. And the positive electrode active material 10a is coated with amorphous carbon 10b, in an amount of 2 wt.% to 5 wt.% based on the whole positive electrode mixture layer, and contained amounts of conductive agents 10b, 20, 30 are equal to or more than 6 wt.% based on the whole positive electrode mixture layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
