PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a paraphrase relationship set acquisition device acquiring a paraphrase relationship set, or a set of descriptions in a paraphrase relationship.

SOLUTION: This paraphrase relationship set acquisition device includes: a topic linguistic expression storage unit 11 in which topic linguistic expression, or linguistic expression of a topic in the description, is stored; a pattern storage unit 12 in which predication patterns are stored for every predication function corresponding to the topic linguistic expression; an acquisition unit 14 acquiring a paraphrase relationship set, or the set of the descriptions having the same topic linguistic expression and the patterns corresponding to the same function in corpus; and an output unit 15 outputting the paraphrase relationship set acquired by the acquisition unit 14.
